Monday Motivation

Straight from the EPISTLES of the APOSTLE himself! 👌

Getting caught up with your past victories is one of those things you cannot afford to do. It is important that you learn to be the master of your fate and the captain of your soul by taking over new territories. There will always be fresh battles waiting for your conquest. While on the other hand, it is also important you get over your past failures too. Process every experience of defeat as a lesson on how not to do things. You are not a failure!
A few experiences of defeat are not enough to change your triumphant nature. Get over the past and move on with your destiny.
Thank God for the victories and breakthroughs that you have experienced in the past.

The MAVERICKS — July 9, 2018

The MAVERICKS

Couldn’t think of a better analogy, call me a foodie. . . But, you get the point. There are better meals on the menu, you don’t have to take what others ordered too. #DoYou!

I’ve never been a fan of/for stereotypes. I’m a maverick true and through. For some, they prefer to be termed ROGUE, others choose MISFITSamongst other concepts, I mostly prefer to refer to myself as NOT YOUR REGULAR TYPE OF GIRL.Generally, people who are seen as different are those not comfortable with their surroundings and are seen to be disturbingly different than others not because their choices have negative effects on them or others but because they dare to be pragmatic about their lifestyle and not just the usual banality. No need to hoodwink themselves about choices they will be doleful about. And no matter where their choices take them, they remain full of character and integrity, steadfast without reservation, without stopping, why? Because, they realize that this is more than an iconoclastic behavior, fad, evanescent, or a trendy term. This is a lifestyle.
Just because everyone you know is doing a particular thing or having a particular thing doesn’t mean its the best for you. Sometimes, what you see is just a ploy, most of these people wish they chose otherwise but gets stuck in the moment that all they could do is just move on with their choices. But, in a bid to feel among, people make whimsical choices and prefer to take what they think to be the safer route because they know some persons doing so too.
Maybe, some of us aren’t just meant to make conventional choices. Maybe standing alone and different isn’t such a bad idea afterall. Maybe you are what the crowd needs to see to know they are following the wrong way. Maybe the worst decision you’ll ever make is living your life in conformity with the laid down norms. New Plan — May 15, 2018

New Plan

New Plans; Same Goals 👌

Saying Happy New Month will be the most appropriate thing to say since this is my first post this month but we are half way gone into the month already, nonetheless, Happy New Month! 🙌 Honestly, I miss it here. I miss the adrenaline rush and excitement and this time, I’m done giving up excuses why I couldn’t write and post them in due time or execute some plans laid down for specific goals. I’m trying a new way, a new dimension and working a new realistic plan.
The purpose of planning is not to struggle around the goal, planning is to help achieve the goal and maximize resources in doing so and if in anyway the plan stops to work, you change the plan not the goal.

The Universe’s Most Powerful Law — February 27, 2018

The Universe’s Most Powerful Law

Don’t be afraid of facing that darkness. Shine your light! 💪 🔥
Putting to practice what I’ve learnt from reading books on Mind control, Attitude, Personal transformation and Positive thinking made me further believe that truly the most powerful law of the universe is the *Law of Attraction*. Well, thanks to this quote,

“ Don’t let your learning lead to knowledge, let your learning lead to action – Jim Rohn”.

I’ve learnt both from Head and Experiential knowlegde that, You attract everything that comes into your life, whether Good or Bad; Beautiful or Ugly and these you attract by virtue of the images you hold dear in your mind. What happens on the outside responds to what your thoughts are no matter what they are. If you can master and understand the dynamics and the power of your mind then you’ll know how to channel its energy into controlling situations. As humans, there is capacity to create, therefore, allowing life to happen to you because you can’t see the best even out of the worst of times shouldn’t be our excuse out of taking responsibility for our lives, all you’ll see is your Failings not Opportunities to do things better. Mistakes not Lessons. I’ve learnt from experience that if you dwell too long in a sticky situation, you’ll never see the way forward. Water will find its level (or so they say), you just have to change your attitude towards every not-so-good time you have and let just that little ray of light illuminate that dark phase.

– Trust God.

– See the bigger picture.

– Hope by processing it in your mind.

– Activate your faith.

– Take conscious efforts by acting it out.

– Leave the Universe to align itself.

Remember, what starts the change is just that little conviction that its going to be alright. Just that little light and the darkness clouding over you will disappear.

Be Your Investment — February 18, 2018

Be Your Investment

Be your own returns on Investment. Invest in your Future, Vision and Mind every single day.
My church has a daily devotional we run by and yesterday’s was titled *Invest in yourself*. In a way, it was a sent word that buttressed what I’ve been up to because lately I’ve been doing a lot of personal investment which mainly ain’t financial (it will one day give me that in returns tho from the knowledge and skills acquired) but the investment has been mainly adding knowledge and personal development and after seeing the devotional, I felt I’ll be doing wrong if I can’t share this gold.

Investment is the sacrifice you make today for the sake of tomorrow. Investment consciousness will make you deny yourself of certain pleasures at the present time so that your future can be better.

Most people know about financial investments such as real estate investment, stock market and retirement plans. However, there is a greater form of investment which will determine what your future will be like. This is investing in self-development (Which is a journey I’m on).

Everything changed after I did and I realize I have all it takes to be and have all I want! 🙌 💃

You must put enough value on yourself to the point that you are willing to spend any amount of money on your personal development, I realized that me not spending on my growth is not being frugal but it only means I don’t believe in myself enough (I don’t trust myself to multiply the seeds). There is need to convince the world that you believe enough in yourself by committing to your personal development.
Begin to consciously schedule time for your personal improvement. Do things that will develop the gifts and talents that you are endowed with. Get materials that will enhance your knowledge and wisdom. It is time to prepare for your manifestation. Every great manifestation is a product of adequate preparation. Your world is waiting for your excellent display. Give them a SHOW! 👍

Tips to Invest in your vision

– Write the vision down. Habakkuk 2:1-3

– Take the vision to the word of God. Connect it to the source. Jeremiah 29:11

– Be Diligent. Work your faith. Proverbs 22:29

On Life’s Journey — February 10, 2018

On Life’s Journey

Strictly my quote 😉
Recently, I had to relocate from home to my place of National service and this involved a lot of packing. My brother (he did most of my packing tho, thanks again!) had to pack some things separately to dispose off because I’ll never need them, they are junks I’ve kept over the years (partially because I just hate to loose things, even the ones I don’t need). They would have been extra load, taking extra space, consuming extra energy.

This recent episode further buttressed one of the lessons growth has been teaching me that to achieve so much in life; You need to cut a lot of habits off. Lay off some friendships. Freeze some unhealthy lifestyle. Let go of some harsh words said to you. Break off a bad relationship. Surround yourself with only people who believe in you. Repel from every negativity clouding you. Deal only with positivities and the necessities. Simply because, with too much junks here and there you won’t be able to get a lot of things done in time and effectively. The so much baggage tends to weigh you down, limits how far you can go and how fast you’ll get there. I’m sure you don’t want to live life getting dragged down by all these, free some space in your life and enjoy the journey.

Much Love,
Oluwafunmibi Fayemi

There’s A Hero In You — October 14, 2017

There’s A Hero In You

Believe in yourself to unleash the hero that resides in you.

I birthed this post originally 2 years ago while doing the dishes on a good evening. My mind wandered off towards the great movie “FANTASTIC FOUR”, I reminisced on how VictorReedBenJohnny & Susan transformed and something caught my attention. I realized what they transformed to was actually based on their Initial Personality i.e what & who they really are on the inside (Their inner man).

I can’t remember a scene in the movie where what I’m saying was acted or explained. We were just made to believe; Victor became the Steel (Metal man), Sue became the Invisible woman, Ben (Thing) became the Hefty man, Johnny became the Human torch and Reed (Mr. Fantastic) became the Stretchy man.

– Come to think of it, Victor was the one who has a metal sculpture made for him in the first scene and till the end of the movie, he had a great thirst for power. He wanted to be invincible.
– Sue (Susan) is just very comfortable with being a scientist. She doesn’t want the limelight and popularity that comes with being an hero. She wanted a NORMAL life where people doesn’t have to know her. She wanted to hide behind the scenes (be invisible) and live like regular people.
– Ben, the big boy, he was the fearless one who actually faced the storm in the space. He does the heavy lifting, fighting, defends and protects Reed on a normal day so he got a good dose of heaviness when he transformed to have more strength and power to save the world.

– Johnny, the cute guy who was so all over himself. He feels he’s hot and he dates hot babes too. He craves for attention and can go to any length to be noticed. The Fire-power seems touché for him because flame can’t be hidden.

– Reed (Mr. Fantastic) on the other hand is a scientist with high curiosity. He loves what he does and was always ready to expand his scope. He could go extra miles to see to getting solutions to scientific problems. He was able to stretch himself farther than his comfort zone even when he had to work alongside Sue after she dumped him.

So far, using the main characters in FANTASTIC FOUR, I discovered that whether Natural or Supernatural, you become what you are on the inside. Your thoughts and confessions becomes you. Everything you become or attracts starts from the inside (You are what you eat or so the says go) and that’s why there is need to feed your inner man right so it can produce the right fruit on the outside. You need to tap into the positive side of you to see the good things about you spring forth on the outside. Your fears becomes you or so the quote goes too. Step out of your comfort zone and choose to be optimistic about life. Don’t be deceived, there will definitely be storms but Peace definitely comes afterward. You have all it takes to get there.
We all have a HERO sitting deep in us and we don’t have to be exposed to some radioactive materials before we become the hero, all we need to do is bring out the best in ourselves and every situation we find ourselves and the KING in us will emerge. . . Remember, No matter how small the light is, it terrifies the darkness *strictly my quote*.

I’m sorry I can’t help it, some posts can’t just be short.

#PeaceOut!✌

From Now On — October 11, 2017

From Now On

The way I live from now on. . .

“Life should be lived like you mean it without limits.”                                      – Oluwafunmibi

Everything about life changed since I discovered how I honestly want to live it. Everyday promises to be better than the former because I’ve chosen to truly live and go for what I believe in and my dreams. No more startup excuses, No fears, No inhibitions, No limitations.

From now on, I’m not going to capture a caterpillar in a jar and keep a butterfly hostage.

Much Love 💘,

Attitude — September 15, 2017

Attitude

There is so much ahead of you that what is behind you should matter very little because the past victories, successes and failures have no bearing on your future but your attitude… Its not about what happened but what you do after that matters.

Quote – Faith — October 30, 2016

Quote – Faith

“Faith is not a ticket out of trouble but a default lifestyle for the just”.
                          – Oluwafunmibi

Moral;
My bible says the just shall live by faith not the just shall have his needs met by faith and in my understanding it means as a child of God (The Just), Faith should not just be a ticket out of trouble rather, it should be a default lifestyle. Faith is the normal form for the just. Faith shouldn’t just be applied when you need God’s word on a particular issue; Faith shouldn’t be something you just pick up in days of trouble. Faith should be a lifestyle, a way of life, how we live our lives everyday. We should grow to apply faith in all our dealings even in the tiniest of things like free lunch *smiles*,etc. It’s tiring to wait till you’re done spending your energy on getting things done when you can just cast your cares and use your faith, all you need do is make faith a living part of your life. It all gets simpler when faith becomes a lifestyle.
God is working in me too cos lately I’ve been learning to trust him for the smallest of things too, not just the major issues of life but everything; Relationship, Academics, Family, Finances, even Emotions. . . I am his RIGHTEOUSNESS so I have FAITH in HIM to take care of ME! You should too. . . *winks*

Much Love,
Oluwafunmibi Fayemi
