It’s Not A Gender Thing ii — October 17, 2017

It’s Not A Gender Thing ii

This is a continuation from last post where I started a talk on Identifying with God on purpose as a woman. Happy Reading!

He created me to be like Him; gave me his Spirit so I can Live like Him! I’m a King. I’m a Creator.

In the likeness of God, Man (male-man and female-man) was given the same attributes as God i.e. Man has potential which is a pointer to his purpose and this must be released by faith.
In the first post, I said, “A woman is simply a man with a womb” which implies that she naturally has the ability to give birth but it doesn’t end there, she also have a mind and spirit of God to create and birth ideas just like a man and this is evident through the various Women who’d impacted the world and made it a better place, know who they are and live(d) their lives purposefully. I discovered that in the eyes of God, it’s not about the curves and edges but His Spirit that he breathed into me. Purpose is not a material concept but a spiritual reality and it only spring from an understanding of one’s identity. (No manufacturer ever introduces a product into a market for the market to dictate its purpose) Answering the question of identity defines purpose.

Trace your roots to your source and embrace the reality that you are not just an expression of a clever design process of nature because nature by itself  can’t create design; rather, you are the creation of an eternal, purposeful being and it has nothing to do with your sex, because in the end, it’s the same SONSHIP ticket we all get, why not just rock being a Woman by living a purposeful life like you mean it and rock it without limits because Your Creator knows no limit.

Peace✌,

It’s Not A Gender Thing — October 16, 2017

It’s Not A Gender Thing

You may be right about this post being on feminism but it just might not be what you are expecting. . . Happy Reading!

  • Purpose ain’t a gender thing. One God. One Spirit. Two Sexes.

Being a girl-child made me ask a lot of questions on purpose and what is expected of who I am and so far, identifying myself with the purpose of creation has shed some light and these I’ll like to share (Just take it as another side to the coin of identity).

Just like every manufacturer, God always has a purpose for his creations. Before a manufacturer makes a product, a problem must have been identified and how it could be solve and this becomes the basis for the design of the product. Likewise, the creator had clear and specific intentions for Man (male-man and female-man). Time out here; Man doesn’t refer to male-man only, it is used in general reference to humankind. (A woman is simply a man with a womb) Oops! You just read that, well, I’m talking from the spiritual perspective. Man-male-man and female-man came from the same source; same manufacturer; they were created in the image and likeness of God.

God is a spirit and if man was created in his likeness then it means that the core of human consciousness is God, therefore, both man and woman have a moral compass; A woman, like a man, can write a law, reflect on actions thought to be right or wrong, feel guilty,. . ., all of which confirm the God-consciousness. Basically, the unique characteristics of humans are the same for both sexes except for their physical and emotional makeup but no gender difference at the core of their existence (Still refering to the spirit-man).
Looks long enough, to be continued in the next post.

There’s A Hero In You — October 14, 2017

There’s A Hero In You

Believe in yourself to unleash the hero that resides in you.

     I birthed this post originally 2 years ago while doing the dishes on a good evening. My mind wandered off towards the great movie “FANTASTIC FOUR”, I reminisced on how VictorReedBenJohnny & Susan transformed and something caught my attention. I realized what they transformed to was actually based on their Initial Personality i.e what & who they really are on the inside (Their inner man).

     I can’t remember a scene in the movie where what I’m saying was acted or explained. We were just made to believe; Victor became the Steel (Metal man), Sue became the Invisible woman, Ben (Thing) became the Hefty man, Johnny became the Human torch and Reed (Mr. Fantastic) became the Stretchy man.

– Come to think of it, Victor was the one who has a metal sculpture made for him in the first scene and till the end of the movie, he had a great thirst for power. He wanted to be invincible.
– Sue (Susan) is just very comfortable with being a scientist. She doesn’t want the limelight and popularity that comes with being an hero. She wanted a NORMAL life where people doesn’t have to know her. She wanted to hide behind the scenes (be invisible) and live like regular people.
– Ben, the big boy, he was the fearless one who actually faced the storm in the space. He does the heavy lifting, fighting, defends and protects Reed on a normal day so he got a good dose of heaviness when he transformed to have more strength and power to save the world.

– Johnny, the cute guy who was so all over himself. He feels he’s hot and he dates hot babes too. He craves for attention and can go to any length to be noticed. The Fire-power seems touché for him because flame can’t be hidden.

– Reed (Mr. Fantastic) on the other hand is a scientist with high curiosity. He loves what he does and was always ready to expand his scope. He could go extra miles to see to getting solutions to scientific problems. He was able to stretch himself farther than his comfort zone even when he had to work alongside Sue after she dumped him.

     So far, using the main characters in FANTASTIC FOUR, I discovered that whether Natural or Supernatural, you become what you are on the inside. Your thoughts and confessions becomes you. Everything you become or attracts starts from the inside (You are what you eat or so the says go) and that’s why there is need to feed your inner man right so it can produce the right fruit on the outside. You need to tap into the positive side of you to see the good things about you spring forth on the outside. Your fears becomes you or so the quote goes too. Step out of your comfort zone and choose to be optimistic about life. Don’t be deceived, there will definitely be storms but Peace definitely comes afterward. You have all it takes to get there.
     We all have a HERO sitting deep in us and we don’t have to be exposed to some radioactive materials before we become the hero, all we need to do is bring out the best in ourselves and every situation we find ourselves and the KING in us will emerge. . . Remember, No matter how small the light is, it terrifies the darkness *strictly my quote*.

I’m sorry I can’t help it, some posts can’t just be short.

#PeaceOut!✌

From Now On — October 11, 2017

From Now On

The way I live from now on. . .

“Life should be lived like you mean it without limits.”                                      – Oluwafunmibi

Everything about life changed since I discovered how I honestly want to live it. Everyday promises to be better than the former because I’ve chosen to truly live and go for what I believe in and my dreams. No more startup excuses, No fears, No inhibitions, No limitations.

From now on, I’m not going to capture a caterpillar in a jar and keep a butterfly hostage.

Do It Anyway — October 3, 2017

Do It Anyway

Drop your fears and be limitless!

I once read a quote by Nelson Mandela that says;

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

Fear should never stop you…

If I wait to stop being afraid, then I just might never do it. Inhale. Do it. Exhale. Do it. Wet sticky palms, shaky feet: do it anyway.

Much Love 💘,

THE SHOW MUST GO ON — September 28, 2017

THE SHOW MUST GO ON

Giving up is not an option, you’ve gotta finish what you started… This show ain’t over until you earn the prize!

That a dancer falls mid-performance doesn’t change nada. That a model twists her ankle on the runway makes for more drama.
In Summary: the show must go on.

Things will always crop up in life. Circumstances will change and almost nothing will go as planned. Sorrow and tragedy will knock and sometimes you will fall flat on your face. Your past mistakes will hunt you and the future turns into a beast hounding you down at night. Amongst all these, the show must go on. You can’t afford to give up by losing hope. You can’t let your life and future be determined by your environment. You can’t judge yourself based on what people say. You can’t lose it because of your skin color. You can’t shy away because you’ve been made to feel you don’t have what it takes. You can’t just let it all go just because you ain’t getting it right yet. You must keep hoping and trying. You can’t just stop when you’re tired except you’re done. When you’re going through hell, you need to keep moving because hell ain’t your bus-stop. You have to believe in yourself and see to the end of it. Persevere. Be persistent in achieving the impossible. Face your fears, Don’t give up. Don’t end your life being a mediocrist, in fact, nothing feels better than proving someone who tried to put you down for what you wanted wrong. I see myself as GOLD most times, whenever the road is rough, I remind myself that the gold must pass through a hot furnace before its beauty can be seen. I’m a WILDFLOWER that will thrive no matter the condition of the desert.
Get up. Dust your pants. Pick your baton. Get back on track.

You have to fight some of the bad days to earn some of the best days of your life

(strictly my quote).

Trust it was a great read. Thought I should share this editted excerpt from the original post 21 Lessons @21, check for other lessons.

Act out your Faith — September 25, 2017

Act out your Faith

The simple recipe but don’t stop there, trust God!

When the vision starts to get blurry…
* Shut the pessimist up in your head.

* Adjust your Focus.

* Act out your faith.

Thank Him. Confess it. Believe it. Receive it. Work it. Thank Him some more.

Purpose and Relationship — September 20, 2017

Purpose and Relationship

Purpose is in seed form and just as the seed requires the right environment to flourish, so does the seed of purpose in you require the right environment. Keep around you people that will stretch the limits of your thinking and inspire you to rise higher.
Note: Avoid toxic people at all costs!

Revisiting The Child In You ii — September 18, 2017

Revisiting The Child In You ii

We’ve all got at least one

Usually people worry a lot about why they are not making progress in life thereby choking their ability to allow their potentials find expression. People worry if they’ll get things right; If their purpose can afford them the lifestyle they desire and they end up working for a living with no joy of living. Working in purpose makes life look like a playground. You just enjoy what you’re doing without worries. You take limits off of your ability and there is motivation to push further.
Truth is, I’m on the path of discovery too and along this way, I’ve decided not to put limits on the dreams I’ve conceived and I’m sure I’m on the right path because I’ve read, see and talk to people who living a purposeful life has worked/is working for.

You’ll always enjoy doing what you’re passionate about.

The principle is as simple as doing that one thing you enjoy, gives you peace, completes you but you’ve been having cold-feet starting or resuming to do. Go back to your canvass and bring those imaginations to life. Go to your early days and sort through the crumbs of your childhood dreams. Revisit the child in you and dream again (I’m sure you will be amazed by what you’ll find). Take the brakes off of your mind. Neglect thoughts of whether the dreams are achievable or realistic (It’s all in the head), Read – Quote-Restrictions. Let your thoughts blossom to the fullness of what could be of your life and you’ll be surprised to find these activities are within your comfort zone, don’t relax in your zone but stretch… Break the barriers of your mind and start living out your dreams.

An Exercise;

“If there were no limitations and failure, what would you dare to do? Where would your imagination take you?”
