Blessed, Broken and Served — December 10, 2017

Blessed, Broken and Served

I’m Blessed, Broken and Served! And its never a one time thing, this is my life now! 🙌

Since I discovered this secret to be an awesome multiplying factor, it has been a constant weapon of usage in my arsenal. I just yearn and crave more of these three (3) steps to keep reoccurring in my life.
– To be Blessed

– To be Broken

– To be Served

I’ve come to the realization that whenever and whatever God Bless, Break and Serve multiplies. The first time I realized this, it got dawn on me on my way home from work one evening and subconsciously, I silently prayed it out that God should Bless, Break and Serve Me! My life hasn’t been the same ever since that 2 mins short request and that’s why I can confidently share the secret. The word works.

I don’t struggle to be a blessing to people and there is always more to go around and left over for the yet to come demands. Resources stopped being the problem and I’m done worrying about what is to be because I’m sure I’ll get even much more than I can ever ask or need, plus, I have the enablement to be a blessing with excess left over! 💃

Scriptural reference;
Matthew 14:17-21, Mark 6:38-44, Luke 9:13-17, John 6:9-14, Matthew 15:34-39, Mark 8:5-10.

WRITE IT DOWN — December 6, 2017

If there  is one lesson I’ve learnt over the years, it is keeping track of the happenings around me by penning them down and this has helped me gone a long way. I have the habit of reading my journal when I’m idle or less busy thereby measuring my past thoughts and actions. I discovered that Writing it down, whatever it is: reminds you, keeps you accountable, heals you and measures your growth. I’ve learnt to write that business strategy to apply, that WORD for my life from God, that gift given to me, that advice, that thing I need to do, that place I need  to go, that thing I need to buy, that habit I need to drop and steps I need to take to get over it, etc… In fact, I keep a personal 🏆 cup (I’ll explain better sometimes in the future), where I keep short notes of almost every good happenings in my life and reminisces on them when I need remembrance of God’s love in my life.

Write it down. Just write it and keep it. You will forget, I promise.

The shortest pencil is longer than the smartest memory or so the quote goes.

Since this is my first post this month, Happy New Month! Xmas is around the corner! 🙌

Loving Me — November 29, 2017

Loving Me

Love yourself enough to rock your choices and decisions!

Sometimes you just have to let go or walk out of some things or situations and these I’ve been known to do lately and I honestly understand why my loved ones couldn’t wrap their head around it but I’ve learnt to say my ‘Yes‘ or ‘No‘ and rock it cos’ I mean it.

People will talk especially loved ones and most times some decisions are not easy to explain but I’ve learnt to respect the fact that People won’t shut up. The ones that love you the most might even be the loudest voices.

Listen to people and stuff but make sure you’re not auditioning for the okay of humans.

Camping — November 24, 2017

Hi guys,

Coupled with having Writers’ block for some days (most likely due to stress from preparing for camp), camp life has not been that free and relaxed enough for me to write so I’m Sorry I’ve been off for a while. Currently on camp for my National Youth Service Corps program which will last for 3 weeks but I promise to work my way around the rigorous training schedule soon. . .

And share some of the experiences here too.

Though It Cost Much; Get Wisdom ii — November 14, 2017

Though It Cost Much; Get Wisdom ii

Hi guys, in my last post, I started a talk on wisdom and the types we have, so , I’ll continue by sharing two ways by which I know wisdom can be acquired.

* The first and foremost way to get wisdom is to Meditate on what God’s Word says concerning your area of purpose, as well as other related areas. This could be achieved with this short recipe;

– Search for scriptural verses for the different areas of your life and ruminate on them.

– Affirm them.

– Repeat the process continuously.

– Be committed to doing what the scripture instructs.

Truth is your perception and your approach to life will change over time as you will start to approach problems based on how God himself would deal with the situation as you meditate on God’s word. Meditation enables you to transform God’s word to becoming a practical solution. Though it may be contrary to your preconceived ideas and feelings, the truth of God’s word is able to withstand the storms of life.

Every christian has a standing promise of the supply of Wisdom on the one condition that you ask God confidently and not waver in your expectation.

* Impartation is another way to acquire wisdom. This can be referred to as the transference of wisdom through association. Impartation from Moses to Joshua is an example. Joshua gained all his skills (Mannerisms, Command, Authority, and Military strategies – which are similar to Moses’) not because he was given any special training by Moses but because of his association with Moses.

An important factor for Impartation is the Attitude of the receiver. Such a person must consciously be positioned under a tutor or mentor, with the expectation to receive the impartation. Wisdom by impartation can be attained through books and other media materials by people who have been successful in their fields.

Commit yourself to getting wisdom through the word of God and Humbly associate yourself with people who have gone ahead of you in life.

Though It Cost Much; Get Wisdom — November 11, 2017

Though It Cost Much; Get Wisdom

“I never approach any problem on common sense, because common sense will only yield common results.”

                                – David Oyedepo

According to the Dictionary, Wisdom is the ability to apply relevant knowledge in an insightful way, especially to different situations from that in which the knowledge was gained, or, the ability to make a decision based on the combination of knowledge, experience, and intuitive understanding. Wisdom can therefore be said to be the acquisition and intelligible application of knowledge acquired in order to generate results.

Overtime, two types of wisdom has been discovered which are termed;

– Learned wisdom

– Divine wisdom

– Learned wisdom: This is the result of trial and error. It is the wisdom gotten through people who have given themselves to applying various sources of information to solve a problem and the processes were recorded to be taught to others. Mankind wasn’t meant to function at the level of trial and error type of wisdom but if not for Adam’s sin.
– Divine Wisdom: This is the main thing. Since God is the custodian of all wisdom, he has laid up in store for his children the wisdom enough to bring a glorious manifestation of their purpose. This wisdom is the 🔑 that will elevate you from the place of discovering purpose to walking in the full manifestation of your purpose on earth.
King solomon (a historical king of Israel and the richest man who ever lived) once said, “Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding”.
What we’re taught in our schools are mostly learned wisdom but we have in our supernatural lifestyle package the enablement to express divine wisdom like Adam was able to name all animals and classify them by divine wisdom. His mental faculties were supernaturally endowed by God for solutions at a superior level (If it’s available to one, it’s available to all).
Relevant Scriptures: Prov. 2:6-7; 4:7-9, Eccles. 10:10.

Outsmart The Devil ii — November 2, 2017

Outsmart The Devil ii

Allow Peace in your ❤!

You cannot live your life trying to get back at someone or prove a point to someone and continue drinking poison and expecting the person to die of it.

Someone once said that to forgive a person for a suffered wrong is to release a prisoner and then realize that you were the prisoner who was released. When we walk in unforgiveness we keep ourselves in prison.
The devil can be so cunning that he’ll make you lose even when you’re on your right by allowing you to harbour bitterness towards someone. You need to know that that moment when you have hurt feelings against someone you’re also putting shackles on yourself because you’re depriving your soul the freedom it should have.

Outsmart the devil by letting go. Allow Love to flow in and through you. Say that prayer crying. Forgive and set your soul free from that labyrinth cage of bitterness.

Outsmart The Devil — November 1, 2017

Outsmart The Devil

Forgive Him/Her/Them. Forgive Yourself. Forgive your past. Allow Peace.

All my life, the hardest prayer I have ever prayed is the prayer of Forgiveness (not for myself but for someone). When one beautiful sunday morning, my pastor said we should pray for anyone who has ever wronged us and let go, I was amused because in my mind I didn’t see the need or thought I was pained, so for some seconds I didn’t even know what to say or who to pray for until suddenly there was an outburst of emotions and I figured there’s this one person in a bid not to feel pain, I’ve suppressed his memories from my life. Opening my mouth to let go and pray for him was the hardest prayer of my life. I did it in between painful tears and a tight chest then I realized sometimes its hard to do but Forgiveness is not about how you feel, you just have to do it when you do it. Broken heart. Tearful eyes. Painful memories.
Forgiveness is tears and salt and a whole string of phrases like ‘I let it go,’ ‘I forgive’ and a decision to not react or flare up at the sight or memory of that person or incident. I did the prayer struggling with my emotions and fighting the will to let go and it wasn’t until I finished the prayer I could breathe properly. I never realized I was carrying such an heavy load until I finished that prayer.

Forgiveness is smiling through your teeth even when that person is not sorry and playing dumb like you’re not bearing scars. After that prayer, I didn’t even need to suppress my memories, letting go just happened naturally and I don’t feel hurt anymore.

Happy New Month!✌

Meditation v — October 29, 2017

Meditation v

What other 5, 7 or 20 steps to a Purposeful and Successful life do you seek when the secret is encapsulated in just one scriptural verse.

Daily meditation puts you in charge of your life because your concept of reality won’t be dictated by the challenges you face in life but by what the word of God says about you.
By chewing and meditating on what his word says, we have a better concept on how our lives are meant to be and how easy it can be achievable if only we can surrender our will to him and allow his plans and ways which are always better than ours.

Extra text; Psalm 1:1-3
